Days 1-9
New Delhi and the Thar Desert
From Delhi to Fathepur Sicri continuing to Desnoke , famous for its rat temple, and then to Bikaner , an oasis in the Thar Desert . We will drive through the golden dunes of Jasailmer and admire its intricate havelis. In Jodhpur , we will feel the regal atmosphere of the imposing Mehrangarh Fort. We will leave for Pushkar , a holy city famous for its lake and Brahma temple, and finally reach Jaipur , the “Pink City”, to immerse ourselves in its rich culture and architecture.
Days 10-13
From the wonder of the Taj Mahal to the temples of Khajuraho
Once in Agra we will be greeted by the majesty of the Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love and one of the seven wonders of the world. Always on board our bus we will reach Gwalior , with its imposing Fort that dominates the city, and then we will head to Orchha , where the frescoes of the temples tell ancient stories. From there, we will continue towards Khajuraho , famous for its richly decorated Hindu temples, which will immerse us in the art and millennial spirituality of India.
Days 14-17
The Holy City of Varanasi
The final stop on our journey is Varanasi , a sacred city on the banks of the Ganges . We will witness the evocative sunset rituals on the ghats and the aarti ceremonies under the moonlight, immersing ourselves in its mystical aura. We will walk through the labyrinthine alleys of the old city, visiting ancient temples and observing the constant flow of pilgrims in the sacred waters of the river. We will taste traditional cuisine along the lively streets and discover local handicrafts in the vibrant markets. Varanasi will give us an authentic and spiritual experience, enriching our trip to India.
