DAYS 1-5
FROM DELHI TO JAIPUR
Our journey will begin with a visit to the city of New Delhi and its main monuments: the Red Fort and the historic Jama Masjid, the Lotus Temple and the effervescent Chandni Chowk. On the way to Jaipur, we will stop at Abhaneri to admire the stepwell and at Fatehpur Sikri, the ghost city. We will continue towards Jaipur, the pink city, with its architectural wonders: the Wind Palace, the Amber Fort, the Water Palace and the Astronomical Observatory, and then get lost in the flower, fabric and spice markets.
DAYS 6-7
FROM AGRA TO KHAJURAHO
In Agra, we will visit one of the 7 wonders of the world: the Taj Mahal, a symbol of eternal love. We will continue our journey to Gwalior with the majestic fort that dominates the city with its impressive architecture. Then we will move to Orchha, a historic city that houses palaces and temples from the 16th century and is rich in art and history. We will conclude our tour in Khajuraho, known for its sculpted temples that celebrate human beauty and complexity through the depictions of the Kama Sutra.
DAYS 8-11
VARANASI
The journey will end in Varanasi, one of the oldest and most sacred cities in India, reached by thousands of pilgrims every day, and where we will witness from its ancient Ghats, the religious ceremonies and cremations along the Ganges River. We will explore the lively markets and ancient temples together and sail at sunset on the sacred river, immersed in an atmosphere of devotion and mysticism, before returning to Italy.
